WHEN was it during the administration of Dongkoy Emano that a mysterious fire gutted down an office supposed to hold vital documents? And people suspected that it was intentional to erase certain records for good. Well, history has a way of repeating itself but through different persons and under different circumstances.

Let them fight the legal battle–after all, all eyes are still focused on it. But that story about sacks of records being pulled out from an office (was it the office of Bedo Joy Elot?) but intercepted by a policeman tasked to prevent anything from being taken out of city hall at the start of the standoff is quite intriguing.

Why were the sacks of records being moved out from the office? Where were they headed for? Where are they now? If it’s true that one sack is in the custody of Acenas, where is the sack now? Why has the COA or government authorities taken no interest in it? Didn’t Acenas even make a peep into its content?

To begin with, they came from a city government office. These are considered public documents. For what reason/s were they taken out? On whose order was it? Is it allowed by law?

If one sack is really with Acenas, he should ask the concerned agency to look into the contents. Who knows? It may hold the key to certain secrets inside that office.

Definitely, some people panicked. The incident may be legally debatable but the fear was real. Fear of what? The answers lie in what is inside those sacks.

Let me say this. That sack could be a Pandora’s box.

I do not know CPA and lawyer Cresencio Countian very well. Neither will I attempt to argue with him. But the city treasurer also claims to have a doctorate degree. Glenn Banez couldn’t be that careless if he didn’t know the law, right? So, who is right? It depends on what one wants to believe. After all, this is already all about politics. Sa mutuo lang!

Jun Balo of Claveria sent me pictures of Philippine Sinter chimney emitting thick smoke. It’s not for me to say it is an environmental hazard. We have the EMB (Environmental Management Bureau) to check that.

What I fear more is something that the eyes can’t see and that is what is coming out from the chimneys of coal-fired power plants. They allegedly emit smoke at night.

It’s like watching zombie movies. Their looks do not disturb me or make me feel afraid. But ghost, well, you don’t see a ghost physically but only blur images and the feeling of its presence. That is fear for me.

Thanks, anyway Jun. I know you also care since toxic smoke drift to your municipality. Continue to send me pictures or videos of what you see and observe.

Somebody sent me a text message regarding a challenge to those who have balls to apologize to the mayor. Whatever, I am sure I still have mine, and they’re round. Whoever hurled that challenge should check his. They might have become squares.
