PDEA agents seize P2m worth of shabu, arrest seven suspects in Yacapin inn raid


THE Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency (PDEA) seized nearly P2 million worth of suspected shabu as it raided an inn on Yacapin Street, this city, on Sunday morning.

PDEA regional director Adrian Alvariño identified seven suspects: Zubair Guro Pampa, 20; Mohaimen Pampa, 18; Najola Cagampang Minalang, 18; Khaleen Pandatan Macatangco; Jaffar Lazim Naga, 19; and Mirafin Jun Sabado Libot, 21.

Alvariño said authorities arrested the suspects and seized some P1.8 million worth of suspected shabu when they staged the raid at Vines Inn in Barangay 27 at around 9 am on Sunday.

Alvariño said authorities confiscated some  over 241 grams of suspected shabu and drug paraphernalia during the raid.

The seized substance would be examined in a laboratory, and the suspects would be charged with drug  pushing and drug use, according to Alvariño.
