PRESIDENT Aquino did not have to name names when he spoke to Kagay-anons last week asking us all not to vote for the pasaway. He did not have to name names at all because we all know who that pasaway in our midst is.

I don’t have to spell out the name of the master of deception as the one referred to by the President of the Republic. I don’t have to spell out the names of the clown-cilors whose only job is to NOD (no one defies) whatever the master of deception orders.

PNoy’s endorsement of the candidacy of Team Oca practically solidified the latter’s call for change in the city and therefore has tremendously increased the hopes and aspirations of each and every Kagay-anon, except of course the master of deception and those who merely NOD, to bring back the lost glory of the city.

PNoy’s call for matuwid na daan is continuously gaining ground and has resulted in an increased investor confidence in the country, putting the Philippines in its path towards becoming a tiger in Asia.

According to Gov. Oca Moreno, Region 10 tops the other regions in Mindanao in terms of health services, to name one criterion.  And yet, Cagayan de Oro lags behind because the governance style of the master of deception is always anchored on politics of deception, politics of division, politics of intrigue, politics of patronage, and politics of mendicancy, such that the kabus becomes poorer and more subservient to his despotic way of governing.

Despite Cagayan de Oro’s lackluster performance, Region 10 is still strongly in the lead because of the strong performance of its other component provinces and cities.  Cagayan de Oro is pulling down the region like huddle of crabs in a race to get out of the pail.  Cagayan de Oro is left behind in terms of performance, no thanks to the pasaway master of deception.

An informed electorate need not be reminded how the master of deception has converted the city into one of doom, gloom and ka-boom.  Our city used to be the cleanest in the country.  It used to be the safest where students, parents, friends, siblings, and strangers got to stride around without fear of being victimized by criminals who don’t give a qualm to pull the trigger and waste innocent and valuable lives.

Pasaway is even a civilized way of describing the master of deception who is also a pan#*@y.
