Four high value drug personalities including two women were arrested for selling and possession of illegal drugs in separate police operations over the weekend.

On Saturday, a painter was arrested after he yielded 24 sachets of suspected shabu and drug paraphernalia during a raid at his house in Zone 8 Barangay Cugman, this city.

Alex Oco, 47, was arrested around 4:10 am on the strength of a search warrant issued by Judge Marites Filomena Rana-Bernales of  Regional Trial Court Branch 39.

The recovered illegal drugs has an estimated value of P31,200.

Chief Insp. Evan Vinas, chief of Cugman police station served a search warrant and led the drug bust against Oco.

Nag-enroll pa ni siya sa programa sa Masa-Masid pero gigamit lang niya ang programa sa gobyerno to cover his illegal activity,” he added.

Earlier, a notorious drug pusher was arrested by combined police operatives in a raid at Ramonal Village, Barangay Camaman-an.

Armed with search warrant issued by Judge Richard Mordeno of Regional Trial Court Branch 22 operatives swooped down on the house of Mando Genese, 27, and confiscated two packs of suspected shabu weighing eight grams worth P48,000.

Information gathered by police, Genese dispose five to 10 grams of illegal drugs in a day Senior Insp. Julius Saluta, chief of Masandig police station said.

Genese is said to be in the watch list of the Directorate for Intelligence in Camp Crame after his name have consistently appeared in the validation.

Meanwhile, in Vamenta Boulevard Zone 2 Barangay Carmen, a buy-bust operation was conducted around 3:15 pm against Apple Mae Macapayag, 26, a resident of Ramonal Village.

Chief Insp. Harvey Abellanosa, chief of Cogon police station said after their poseur-buyer completed the transaction with Macapayag  she was immediately placed under arrest.

The operatives were able to seize eight sachets of suspected shabu worth P8,000 and the P300 buy-bust money.

Abellanosa claimed that Macapayag is tagged as top 6 most wanted in their station.

Two hours after, the same police operatives conducted another buy-bust operation in Barangay Carmen and arrested Dina Castillo, 35, a resident of Zone 3 Pinikitan Barangay Camaman-an.

During the operation, the suspect transacted with the police poseur-buyer which led to her arrest.

Police recovered three sachets of suspected shabu from Castillo with an estimated value of P5,000 and the marked money worth P200. (a.l. ricalde)
