Gingoog City — Police have arrested a vegetable vendor inside a public market, here in a buy-bust operation, Monday afternoon.

Gingoog Chief of Police Supt. Roel Lami-ing said the vegerable vendor was arrested through a buy-bust operation conducted at about 3 pm.

Lami-ing identified the suspect as Millard Arangcon, 29, and a resident of Barangay 16, this city.

Ila lang ko gi-plantingan ug dili tinood ang ilang gipasangil nako nga namaligya ko og shabu,” Arangcon protested.

Arangcon said he will be questioning the process of his arrest.

Police authority recovered from the suspect’s possession one sachet of suspected shabu and P500 bill as marked money.

Another sachet of shabu was also recovered from the suspect’s left front pocket added Lami-ing.
