Chief Insp. Gilbert Rollen, chief of the Bulua police station, identified the suspects as Clyde Dimple Namocot, 18, of Zone 7 Upper Bulua, an alleged leader of notorious Tropa Born Squad (TBS) gang, and his accomplice, John Phillip Rosal, 18, of Zone 3, Barra, Opol, Misamis Oriental.

They were flagged down by the operatives of Bulua police station at a checkpoint in Zone 4, Bulua around 4 pm for not wearing helmets.

According to the police, Namocot failed to present a driver’s license and documents for the motorcycle he was driving.

However, when the police checked the chassis and engine number of the motorcycle, they discovered that it was listed as a stolen vehicle.

Namocot’s group has been blamed for stealing motorcycles in Misamis Oriental and in the city, Rollen claimed.

Rollen added that Namocot was arrested a few months ago for attempting to steal a motorcycle.
