Police identified the suspects as Dindo Besitula a.k.a. “Kolot” and Julie Anthony Besitula a.k.a “Lablab.” Only the latter was arrested.

Julie, 33, was caught during a buy-bust carried out by members of a police intelligence unit and Special Weapons and Tactics (Swat) group in Purok 6, Barangay San Juan, this city, on Saturday.

Senior Insp. Joel Cabanes said the suspects were in the list of target illegal drug suspects–the 35-year old Dindo, a former court employee who evaded arrest, tops the list while Julie ranks No. 9 in the list.

Cabanes said the operation resulted in the seizure of some 250 grams of suspected shabu with an estimated street value of P2.950 million, and another three grams of suspected shabu worth some P35,400.

Police said Julie yielded six sachets of suspected shabu and a P1-thousand marked money while police found a 9mm caliber pistol, an AR-15 Colt 9mm rifle, an air rifle, some P50 thousand in cash, and drug paraphernalia in Dindo’s house.
