THIS year, Prince Hypermart (formerly Prince Warehouse Club) celebrated the successful “TEN”DAHANG KARNABAL, 10 years of the Sari-Sari Store (SSS) Festival that has been the grandest festival of its kind in the Visayas and Mindanao region. The Sari-Sari Store Festival is the annual advocacy event of Prince Hypermart which is a way of giving back to their Prince Royalty Members, and thanking them for the years of continued loyalty and support. “It’s our way of giving back and also a celebration for our loyal and happy members,” said Rina Janine Go, supply chain director of Prince Retail Group of Companies. The whole day event was filled with games, prizes, helpful discussions, talks, and surprises last August 15 at the Amnezia Superclub, Ouano Ave., North Reclamation Area, Mandaue City.

One of the main highlights of the SSS Festival was the keynote speech of Senate Majority Leader Sen. Alan Cayetano who flew in from Manila to grace the event and gave additional capital to Prince Hypermart’s Top 10 customers per branch. Sen. Cayetano discussed about how to plan and allocate budget for small & medium enterprises in his keynote speech.

Chinkee Tan, popular wealth management author, speaker and TV Personality, presented a lively talk on having the right business mindset and how to specialize each store according to the market needs such as selling school supplies if the store is within a school’s vicinity. Pinoy Big Brother Housemate Paul Jake Castillo entertained the crowd with games and gave away a tricycle from International Pharmaceuticals, Inc.’s.

This yearly fun-filled gathering is exclusive to members of the Royalty Program, Prince Hypermart’s membership rewards and points program. The membership base is growing with 75,457 members in Cebu province alone and a total of 245,166 members all over the Visayas and Mindanao— mostly sari-sari store owners. Go says that what distinguishes Prince’s loyalty program are the rebates to earn direct discounts on purchases, exclusive monthly deals to get higher resell profits, and Royalty Gold Program exclusive deals and access to life and health insurance. Royalty Gold Member Fe Ramos of Danao, gave a heartfelt and moving testimonial on how the Royalty Program’s insurance helped her pay the hospital bills. She was crying as she sincerely thanked the Go family for the overwhelming benefits she received.

This event was made possible by the event partners and sponsors who were committed to the same vision of Prince Hypermart. The customers enjoyed going around the 32 sponsor’ booths where they bought goods  at exclusive deals, cheaper prices, and free samples. The Sponsors’ representatives gave practical tips on growing their business and introduced exciting new products. They also gave away exciting raffle prizes such as gift packs, appliances, an entertainment set, a tricycle, and iPad Minis.
