Actub, who chairs the committee on transportation in the Sangguniang Panlalawigan, told this paper he wants both government agencies to form a “probe team” to tackle the issue on alleged colorum vans plying the province.

Actub said he already raise the issue in his privilege speech during their regular session this week.

In his speech, Actub alleged that these vans have been allowed in the public terminals in Bulua and Agora.

About 200 colorum vans are allegedly operating in the province and in the city of Cagayan de Oro, he added.

Actub also said he will invite all transport associations and cooperatives in Misamis Oriental in a committee hearing next week.

He also invited representatives from the office of LTFRB-10 and LTO-10.

Kinahanglan mahatagan kini sa igong pagtagad kay luoy pod ang mga drivers ug operators nga nag operate legal labi na sa mga jeepney ug mga motorela,” Actub said.
