Witnesses said the assailant sat at the front seat beside the driver, and he had an argument with Sullano.

The assailant reportedly told Sullano he was disembarking when the jeepney reached Echem and Tiano streets at around 8 pm.

But as Sullano was slowing down, the suspect suddenly pumped four bullets into Sullano’s head.

Sullano was rushed to the nearby Northern Mindanao Medical Center where he was declared dead on arrival.

Initial investigation showed that Sullano succumbed to four gunshots to the head. Authorities were able to recover a cartridge of a caliber .45 caliber pistol at the crime scene.

Witnesses described the assailant as medium built, about 32 years. He was wearing a gray jacket and black short pants.
