Gingoog City — The Philippine Red Cross-Gingoog Chapter has urged for more blood donations to cover up shortage of blood supply in the city.

Marilyn Abian, PRC chapter administrator said there is a need to address the shortage of blood supply.

Abian presented her report during the PRC 6th Chapter Assembly and Board Orientation on Tuesday held at Penthouse City Hall, here.

Talisayan Mayor Rommel Maslog also urged to all concerned to donate blood.

He pledged his support to PRC.

Misamis Oriental Gov. Yevgeny Vincente Emano who was not able to attend as the guest of honor sent a message which was read by Board Member Wayne Militante

Emano said he will conduct regulard blood letting activities in every municipality as he also pledged his support to the Philippine Red Cross.
