Roxas said the police, the Bureau of Fire Protection (BFP), and the rest of government agencies under the Department of Interior and Local Government (DILG) are sworn to serve the people.

The brand new patrol jeeps is part of the 1,490 vehicles acquired by the Philippine National Police (PNP) for distribution to all police stations in the country to augment police capability in responding to the call of duty, especially in times of emergency.

The secretary is set to distribute 11 more units to Compostela Valley, and 8 in Davao del Norte on Saturday.
