CONVENING as the Committee of the Whole, the 18th City Council during its budget hearing of the Cagayan de Oro Executive Budget (General Fund and Special Account-Economic Enterprises/Utilities) for Calendar Year 2018 presided over by Councilor Teodulfo E. Lao, Jr., approved in principle the proposed budget of the Roads and Traffic Administration (RTA) for 2018.
The proposed budget in the total amount of P102,980,616 will cover, among others, allocations for the conduct of Traffic Volume Survey, installation of Traffic Outpost Station, and purchase of various materials and equipment such as computers and printers with complete accessories. The RTA intends to purchase equipment such as Thermoplastic Machine with mixer and applicator, Thermo Plastics, Thermo Glass Beads, Thermo Primer for concrete pavement, concrete cutter 7.5HP gasoline engine with one spare cutting disk, Toolset with drawer, Battery Charger Booster with 24vdc & 6vdc, plastic barrier, plastic cone, Light Vehicle wheel champ, Truck Wheel clamp, steel railings and Risograph machine, window-type aircon, LCD/LED projector with screen, Flatbed Truck with boom for Thermo plastic machine and motorcycle units with complete accessories, among others.
