BUTUAN City — San Francisco, Agusan del Sur police headed by Police Community Relations Officer Insp. Xylene Guir Agatep did not only provided road security in the motorcade for the kick off ceremony for Brigada Eskwela early morning yesterday but also helped in cleaning the school.

Cops helped parents, pupils and teachers in cleaning Teodoro B. Ong Yiu Memorial School in Barangay Hubang, San Francisco, Agusan del Sur in this first day of Brigada Eskwela which is supported by officials of the Municipal Government of San Francisco and Provincial Government of Agusan del Sur headed by Governor Adolph Edward Galido Plaza.

“We are committed not only of providing safe and secure school atmosphere but also will spearhead to strengthened partnership between teachers, parents and pupils in promoting healthy and secure premises in relation to the opening of the class 2016-2017 here in San Francisco, Agusan del Sur,” said Chief Insp. Sandro Bantad Santillan, Chief of Police.

This year’s Brigada Eskwela spearheaded by Dep Ed has a theme “Tayo Para sa Paaralang Ligtas, Maayos at Handa Mula Kindergarten Hanggang Senior High School.”

Agatep, the PCR in-charge and Santillan thanked members and personnel of the San Francisco PNP station saying an educated people and clean school will lead to more peaceful, secure and safe community thus paving way for harmonious, united and progressive society.
