ILIGAN City — Six men and a woman were arrested late in the afternoon Tuesday in a buy-bust operation conducted by the National Police-Iligan City Public Safety Company, this city.
Police report stated that the said police unit conducted a buy-bust operation against a certain Ramil Reuyan at a lodging house in Purok 13, Saray-Tibanga.
Reportedly, the operation resulted in the arrest of Bernie Lim, Michael Dato, Rowell Ocos Llana, Junrie Soriano, Rudy Billones and a female identified as Evelyn Caballo who were with Reuyan at the time of the operation.
A reliable source told reporters that the persons arrested had occupied three rooms of the lodging house for two days before the operation took place.
Recovered from the possession of the said persons were eight plastic sachets of suspected shabu and other drug paraphernalia together with the marked P100 used in the operation.
According to the report, the confiscated items were brought to the PNP Crime Laboratory for Examination while the suspects were detained at Police Station 5. Appropriate charges were being readied against the detained suspects at press time.
The report disclosed that the operation was led by Police Supt. Rey C. Alimanza with Police Chief Inspector Jason Jan E. Pasco and CAIDTF Police Inspector Jerick Jay Menor Tingson.
