ISULAN, Sultan Kudarat—The provincial government here headed Governor Suharto Mangudadatu has conducted a three day gender and development seminar last June 16t o 18, 2015 in General Santos City.
Provincial Social Wefare and Development Officer Henry J. Albano has welcomed the participants coming from different towns in the province.
The seminar resource speakers from DILG and PCW discussed the overview on the mandates of gender and development as stategy to implement the MCW, orientation on the harmonized guideline and discussions of implementing the program in crafting activity profile and budgeting using the new template prescribed on the JMC-2013.
A total of 72 participants from the different LGU’s in the province have participated the seminar and in return they were expected in “rolling-out” the same training to their respective offices to include the strengthening and the creation of GFPs of the LGU.
Albano expressed gratitude to all that participated the seminar and looking forward for their contributions to development to gender in particular and to the province in general.
