Sixty eight children from Tagoloan and Villanueva avail of the Project Aklat school supply assistance from energy-firm STEAG State Power Inc. (SPI). Project Aklat aims to inspire children to pursue education despite of the economic challenges faced by their respective parents. The assistance is a component of SPI’s Social Empowerment through Education (SEED) Program and in line with the company’s continuing Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) efforts.
