ONE of the four survivors of the fire in Corrales Extension on Saturday has approached the National Bureau of Investigation asking to investigate as she suspects her house was burned deliberately.

In an interview with reporters, Melody Cerillo recalled that she saw two persons running away as the fire started engulfing their two-storey house.

Cerillo said it could not have been “faulty electrical wiring.”

She said she saw the two persons running away as she jumped out of their burning house.

She believes that the burning of her house is connected with a land transaction deal in Balingasag town she was overseeing as a land broker.

Cerillo, however, did not give reporters details on the suspects except by saying she is sure she can identify who was responsible in the burning of their house.

She added that she has submitted the details of her complaints to the NBI for investigation.
