LIBONA, Bukidnon—A joint police operation was conducted Thursday against suspected drug pushers operating at Zone 5 Barangay Gango here that resulted to the arrest of a father and his son, a police officer revealed.

Police Senior Inspector Peter L. Tajor, Libona town police chief said police elements together with police force coming from 10th RPSB headed by P/Insp. Billy Ray Canagan swoop to the place of the of the drug suspects bringing with them the search warrant issued by Judge Jose U. Yamot, Sr. of RTC 10, Branch 11 of Manolo Fortich Bukidnon.
It was learned that the suspects which police identified as Rolando Celada aka Andot and his son Rolando Celada, Jr. Aka Done, did not resist when police showed the search warrant and police entered their residents and started to find the illegal substance locally kown as shabu inside their home.

Police inventory report revealed that 11 transparent cellophane containing white crystalline substance were recovered in different area of the suspects place together with aluminium foil, d assorted unit of cellphones, 214 pieces of empty transparent cellophanes, a revolver .22 magnum with 3 live ammos and cash money amounting to P4,171.15 .

Police report revealed that the operation was coordinated with the PDEA-10 under pre-ops no. 1615-00069 and witnessed by Gango Barangay Chairman Eleazar Ibona and Barangay Kagawad Angelito Atillo. Barangay Chair Ibona thanks the effort of the police as they successfully got substantial evidences that were more than enough to pin down the suspect to jail. He also urged his residents to go away with the use of illegal drugs as this would only ruined their life. He also hope that the police drug operation would serve as stern warning to those pushing/ using the illegal substance.

The drug suspects were temporarily detained at this town police station while taken substance were forwarded to PNP Crime Labororatory for examination. Police has now readies the filing of case for violation of 9165 and illegal position fire arm and ammunitions.
