A 31-year-old makeup artist is now in jail after he was arrested for selling illegal drugs Monday.
Bukidnon Provincial Police Director Police Col. Reynante Reyes identified the suspect as Ranie Ardiente ‘Ranz,’ a resident of Purok 3, Barangay Kianggat, Dangcagan of the said province.
He was arrested by a joint team of Dangcagan municipal police station and 2nd Bukidnon Police Mobile Force Company, and other units in a buy-bust operation at Purok 1, Barangay Lourdes of the same town at 10:22 pm.
Confiscated from him were two heat-sealed transparent plastic cellophane containing a white crystalline substance suspected to be shabu with an estimated street value of P2,500; and a P500 bill.
The suspect’s black motorcycle (Yamaha YTX 125), bearing temporary plate number 1001-239456, was also impounded.
It was learned that Ardiente has surrendered before.
