AUTHORITIES seized nearly half a million pesos worth of suspected shabu from an 18-year old during a buy-and-bust operation in Barangay 37, this city, on Sunday night.
Senior Insp. Maricris Mulat, chief of the City Anti-Drug Enforcement Unit, identified the suspect as Binla Salic, a native of Baloi, Lanao del Norte, residing on Roxas Street in Barangay 37.
Mulat said Salic was arrested after he allegedly sold a sachet of suspected shabu to an undercover agent.
Police said Salic yielded 70 grams of suspected shabu estimated to have a street value of P420 thousand, a cellular phone and marked money.
Mulat said Salic was in the police’s list of “high-value targets.” (a.l. ricalde)
