Authorities have arrested three wanted persons in separate operations late last week.

One of the wanted persons arrested was Ruel Baconguis, 39, who was arrested on Zone 5 Barangay Bugo, this city.

Baconguis, a resident of Siayon Tagoloan Misamis Oriental, was arrested last Thursday afternoon on the strength of two warrant of arrest for selling and possession of illegal drugs issued by Judge Arthur Abundiente of the Regional Trial Court Branch 25.

Chief Insp. Ian Borinaga, chief, of the Puerto police station, said, Baconguis is an alleged drug pusher operating in the city. He is said to be very elusive in fact, his arrest warrant was issued in 2011.

Meanwhile, operatives of Macabalan police station arrested Arnold Colima, 24, of Accretion Area, Barangay Macabalan, this city. Colima was facing arrest warrant issued by RTC Judge Henry Damasing for robbery with intimidation of person.

Judge Damasing has recommended bail of P100,000 Colima’s temporary liberty.

Last Friday, operatives of Carmen police station arrested Garry Sison Sr., of Zone 6 Gumamela Ext. Barangay Carmen. He was also facing arrest warrant issued by Judge Evelyn Gamotin-Nery for violation of 9262 or the Anti-Violence Against Women and their Children Act of 2004 with P48,000.00 bail recommended.
