A MAN on a motorcycle crashed into a worker riding a mountain bike in Sitio Baloy, Barangay Tablon this city at 8 am, yesterday.

PO3 Rolando Resurrecion, an investigator with the Cugman Police Station, identified the two accident victims as Alain Labalay, 39, a resident of Barangay Macabalan and employee at LYL Development Corp and Jose Soliven, 38, a businessman.

Resurrecion said Labalay, riding his mountain bike, came from Barangay Gusa while Soliven who was driving a Vega motorcycle came from Barangay Bugo.

Labalay, Resurrecion said, was crossing the road to go into the LYL Development Corp. compound in Baloy when Soliven crashed into him.

The investigator said Labalay suffered a broken arm from the accident. Meanwhile, Soliven cracked his helmet due to the impact of the crash and suffered bruises and contusions.

Resurrecion said they would still continue to investigate the accident to ascertain the culpable party.

Both Labalay and Soliven were rushed to Northern Mindanao Medical Center for treatment. (Nitz Arancon)
