Police identified the suspects as 31-year-old Nestor Cagalawan of Zone 7, Sitio Malasag in Barangay Cugman, and 39-year-old Jerome Tenestrante of Zone 6, Capisnon in Kauswagan.

Authorities said Cagalawan topped the list of most wanted persons in the city while Tenestrante was second in the list.

Cagalawan was arrested during a joint operation by members of Police Station 10 and the City Drug Enforcement Unit based on an arrest warrant for violation of Section 5, Article II of RA 9165. No bailbond recommended for him.

Tenestrante, meanwhile, was arrested during a buy-and-bust operation by the CDEU, Crimes Against Persons and Property Division of the Cagayan de Oro City Police Office in coordination with the Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency.

Insp. Arnold Formento  alleged that Tenestrante sold a suspected shabu to an undercover agent for P500. He said police found five grams more when they searched the suspect.
