Amenoding Cali of Kalimudan sa Ranao Foundation, Inc, told reporters that their organization together with two others requested Usaid to help MSU’s Information Technology Education Department by providing the TV sets items as instructional equipment.

The donation is part of Usaid’s “Enhancing Governance, Accountability and Engagement Program,” he said.

Program Development Officer Edwin Camacho of Engage, in a simple ceremony, turned over the equipment to MSU System President Habib Macaayong.

He said the items donated are just part of the continuing development assistance that Usaid is giving to developing countries like the Philippines.

Macaayong in his brief acceptance statement said, “Rest assured that your donation of TV sets and other equipment will be put to good use by the faculty and students –– the students, first and foremost –– as these are meant to serve.”

Dean Bartolome Cagas of Ised expressed his utmost thanks to Engage for helping them with the donation.
