Midsayap, Cotabato — Motorcycleiding suspects shot down two individuals in this town, Sunday afternoon.
The victims were identified as Faisal Madendog, 32, Secretary of Barangay Central Labas and Herman Eduarte, 40, a resident of Upper Labas.
The victims who were also riding their motorcycle were travelling along the old cemetery road of Barangay Poblacion 8, when they were followed by the suspects and who suddenly shot the two victims down.
Both victims suffered gunshot wounds to the head. Marindug was declared dead on the spot by the responding policemen, while Eduarte was rushed to the nearest hospital, but was transferred late yesterday and still in critical condition.
Authorities found 14 empty shells of unidentified pistol caliber from the crime scene.
The police are still investigating the incident, while the motives and identities of the suspects are still unknown.
