Villanueva joins Misor anniversary, Kuyamis

The Municipality of Villanueva joined the 88th founding anniversary of Misamis Oriental and the 5th Kuyamis Festival by fielding its own booth at the capitol.

Gov. Yevgeny Vincente Emano said he was happy to know that Villamueva participated the province’s annual festivities because it was the first time that Villanueva participated during his term as governor.

He thanked Villanueva Mayor Jennie Rosalie Uy as well as other town mayors who participated.

Capitol spokesperson Nicole Managbanag a spokewoman to Governor  Bambi Emano said this year, 13 municipalities including Villanueva and El Salvador City particpated the booth contest during the week-long celebration that opened Monday at  the capitol grounds.

The following municipalities and city which participated the booth display contest are Medina, Talisayan, Sugbongcogon, and Lagonglong in the first district of the province.

While in the second district are Villanueva, Jasaan, El Salvador City, Naawan, Libertad, Laguindingan Initao, Manticao, and Lugait.
