The Cagayan de Oro Water District (COWD) has announced an emergency repair and maintenance of one of its production well (No. 11) located at Bantilles, Bugo. As a result there would be little or no water at all beginning today until Thursday June 7 affecting the following areas: Bugo, Puerto, and Agusan.

Meanwhile, on Wednesday the COWD would be conducting a replacement of the newly-installed 100mm diameter gate valve for the meter inflow assembly located at Dacudao, Lapasan. This would also cause service interruption or no water at all for consumers residing in the following areas from 9 AM to 11 AM.

From junction Lapasan National highway – NVPAS road to Dacudao Subdivision including centro Kolambog in Lapasan.

In addition, it also announced that it would cut short its business hours on June 12 (independence day) and on 15 (Cagayan de Oro Charter day) from 8Am to 12 noon.

Regular transcations would resume on June 13 and 16 respectively. (dave achondo)
