ILIGAN City — A wayward vehicle killed two security guards while seriously injuring another guard, dawn of Sunday.

The Police Report of Station 5, Poblacion revealed that the guards were at Alberto’s Pizza at around 2:45 am when they were hit by a wayward Toyota Revo Wagon with plate No. WSC-720.

This was registered under the name of Kaya D. Sangkad of Vamenta  Estates Subd, Barra,Opol, Misamis Oriental and driven by Edward Llorente, 34, single, a businessman  and a resident of Purok 8, Upper Tominobo, this city.

Police investigators reported that the wagon, while driving southward and upon reaching the accident area swerved to the right excessively and hit a concrete fence of Alberto’s Pizza and running over the three security guards.

The initial  impact then killed instantaneously the two guards, identified as Quireno O. Duhaylungsod, 54, of Sta Felomina, this city, and Arestio Clamor, 41, married and resident of Tubod, this city. Noel Luna single of Bagong Silang, this city also sustained serious injuries and presently hospitalized at nearby Adventist Medical Center.

Passengers of the wagon identified as Princess Tamondong, 22 years old single, Eleanor Jane Enario 21 years old single, and Gracelyn Navarro, 27 years old single; all are residents of Neptune 1 Suarez this city and were injured too.

It was learned that the driver might have been intoxicated as his breath smelled of liquor. His driver license was also found to have expired.
