THE weekend blackouts continue.

The Cagayan Electric Power and Light Co. Inc. (Cepalco) announced another scheduled power interruption in the city tomorrow and Monday.

Tomorrow’s blackout would be to facilitate the continuing work on a line conductor and upgrading of 69-kv and 13k.8k line conductors along Mandumol road, Macasandig, this city.

The blackout is scheduled for 10 hours, from 7 am to 5 pm, and would affect the greater portion of Barangay Macasandig from Aluba, Tibasak, Mandumol, Buena Oro, Taguanao down to Lower Sumpong.

On Monday, Cepalco also announced, a scheduled blackout in different parts of Misamis Oriental and this city to facilitate the tapping of a 69-kv primary loop at the Kirahon substation in Villanueva town, and the activation of a feeder there.

The work would result in two hours of blackout starting at 3 am and 5 am from Jasaan, Villanueva down to Tagoloan, Misamis Oriental.

Cepalco said it would conduct power switching from 3 am to 3:45 am, and again at 5 am and 5:45 am, and this would affect Bugo, Puerto, Tablon, Alae, Tin-ao, Agusan, Baloy, Cugman, Gusa, and Lapasan.
