Doy Ramiro used to be with the China Savings Bank as loans account officer until his retirement effective Dec. 1.  He is also into the food business with his ever-supportive wife Sisette, who also runs a manpower agency.

A past president of the Rotary Club of Kalayaan Cagayan de Oro and an active member of the Brotherhood of Christian Businessmen and Professionals, Doy will also augment what the RTA already knows about the perception of the public in what the RTA has been doing.

Doy Ramiro, graduated cum laude from the Immaculate Heart of Mary Seminary with an AB Philosophy degree. That achievement conferred upon him civil service eligibility as provided for by law.

Doy will sit in the Advisory Committee of the RTA and will initially coordinate the plans, programs and activities of the three sectors of the RTA. As earlier reported, the city was divided into three sectors with each sector having a sector head and a sector assistant head.

Doy will ensure that the three sectors head towards the same direction and that manpower and other resources are equitably distributed among the three groups.  He will also initially directly supervise the motorcycle unit, roving team and night patrol of the RTA.

The three sectors are headed by old reliable hands of the RTA.  Sector 1 – Carmen to Iponan and towards the north and south, is headed by a rising star, Jefferson “Rockstar” Jaraula.  From the day he was designated roving team leader, Rockstar showed us that he was an effective leader and implementor.

Sector 2 – the poblacion area, is headed by Lito “Equalizer” Deloso.  Equalizer has ample knowledge of the operation of the law enforcement group of the RTA and his focus on the poblacion area is expected to dramatically improve the traffic situation there.

Sector 3 – from Vicente Roa street towards the east, and towards the north and south, is headed by Jundrick “Classic” Abuelo.  Classic used to assist Equalizer hence his acquired knowledge in the law enforcement group will also expectedly improve traffic management in his area of assignment.

Since the first day he joined the RTA, Doy “Comic” Ramiro already rolled up his sleeves and buckled down to work.

Welcome, Doy!
