OPERATIVES from Cagayan de Oro Police Office scored anew when they arrested two persons in a buy-bust operation yesterday morning at Barangay Gusa, this city.

The suspects were surprised upon seeing the police forcibly entering their rented pad at San Pedro in Gusa at about 7 am.

Recovered from the suspects were 10 sachets of suspected shabu, one .38 caliber revolver, a P1,000 bill buy-bust money, and several illegal drug paraphernalia.

Master Sgt. Luisito Ugat, chief intelligence operative assigned at Agora police station, identified the suspects as Marvin dela Cruz, residing at Barangay Lapasan and Shiela Mae Fabrecante, both of Barangay Gusa, this city

A certain Adener Fabrecante, older brother of Shiela Mae, was able to evade arrest by jumping through the back window. He was the subject of the operation.

Naka sense siya (Adener Fabrecante) nga police ko, midagan pasulod sa iyang balay. Abi kog mamusil kay mikuha man siyag armas iya man diay gibilin ayha miambak sa binatana,” Ugat recalled.

Dela Cruz’ feet were fractured due to the impact when he attempted to escape from the raiding team by jumping through the 20-feet high window at the back of the house.

Fabrecante said she was just visiting her brother that time when the raid was conducted.

Ugat said, Fabrecante will yet be investigated whether she is involved in the illegal activities.

He said an informant tipped their office regarding the illegal activity of (Adener) Fabrecante thus, a three-month survielance was conducted against the suspect.
