Two cousins died after the motorcycle they were riding fell into a ravine in Sitio Palalan, Barangay Lumbia, this city, Sunday morning.
Police Sgt. Francis Mariana, police traffic investigator assigned at Lumbia police station, identified the victims as John Daniel Reyes, 22; and Francis Jade Reyes, 19.
The victims, who were both residents of Sitio Sta. Cruz, Lumbia, were discovered at about 6 am already dead.
Marciana said he had learned that the victims, prior to the incident, were in the house of another cousin in Xavier University Ecoville.
“Gi drayeban tong Francis Jade mintras si John Daniel nag angkas sa luyo. Nakainum daw to sila gamay didto sa balay sa ilang ig-agaw,” Mariana said.
A witness told Mariana the motor, a sniper with colored combination of black and pink. was in full speed and that the driver might not have noticed the eight-foot ravine along the road.
