At first, naka focus ko sa climbing community pero na notice nako nga dili man me ing-ana ka daghan tao sa niche, so I decided to design apparells to cater enthusiast from other sports like biking, trekking among others,” Armand said.

When asked what “8a” stands for, he said it is a grade that is given to rock climbers such as himself which he wanted to incorporate in the name. “Pag maka abot ka ana nga level [8a] maka proud na kayo na as a climber, kay dili na siya sayon ma achieve. Kung baga when you wear my product, know that it was made here in the Philippines with pride,” he said.
