ILIGAN City–The stand of God/Allah as far as His declaration to Abraham/Ibrahim is concerned is unilateral — meaning, we must first fulfill the condition He has set forth, then the consequences will follow. The consequences will largely depend on the initiator of the action or decision. The consequences is not dependent on the subject. It is largely dependent on the one who initiates.
Thus when God said, “I will bless those who bless you and will curse those who curse you” depends largely on the initiator of the action. If we bless Israel (the Jews) and Ishmael (the Muslims), then the consequences of what we initiated will then follow.
Thus if the Jews or Muslims in your area are a curse or blessing depends largely on your actions and decisions towards them.
If you curse a Muslim, then as God declared, he will be a curse to you. If you bless a Muslim, then he will be a blessing to you.
Similarly, if you bless a Jew, then that Jew will be a blessing to you. If you curse a Jew then that Jew will be a curse to you.
Whether a Muslim or a Jew becomes a blessing or curse to you, largely depends on your initiative.
Do not wait for a Muslim to bless you. Bless him first, then as God decreed, he will be a blessing to you.

So ask yourselves this question: “Are the Muslims in your area a blessing to you? If they are not, then the fault does not lie with them. It lies with you since you are the initiator of the action. That is how God declared and arranged it in Genesis 12: 2 and 3. It all depends on the initiator–meaning, you. It is a unilateral declaration given to Abraham and his children as Abraham’s great privilege for believing in God against all odds.
You must first do, then He will see to it that the consequences will follow. So do not blame the Muslims or the Jews. That is their great privilege as direct descendants of Abraham/Ibrahim. See what faith or belief in God can do? He treasures it greatly.
