Mouthwatering. Appetizing. Healthy. These are the best words to describe the foods from Ababu Persian Kitchen. They have truly enthralled the taste buds of not just a food adventurer in Cagayan de Oro but also the students from the area. People’s lifestyle nowadays is not just merely focused on eating healthy food, but also to satisfy what they want to eat without disturbing their regular diet.

Ababu Persian Kitchen offers the best food that you can imagine and once you tasted it you would definitely crave for more, and you just can’t help it but to come back the next day.

“Because it’s a Persian food, a lot of Kagay-anons are judgmental of how it tastes like” said Ton Bollozos, Ababu Persian Kitchen’s Proprietor. ”but we prove them wrong because once they have a taste of our dishes, they’ll surely keep on coming back and most especially the students from XU” He added.

A food conscious like me, there’s a perfect yet delicious food that Ababu Persian kitchen can offer. Their Chicken Salad (P90.00) is not from their best seller list, but for me it is perfect! Once you’ve tried it, the perfect blend of the chicken, the sweet sauce and the lettuce makes you to crave more and if you’re like me I throw in a bit of Persian hot sauce in the mix to add a little kick to it.

If you are looking for a spicy type salad, then I recommend you try their spicy yet very tasty and mouthwatering Beef Salad (P90.00) the spice level is not over powering it just gives you a hint of pepper. Introducing these two salads is like introducing a very sexy; elegant lady and a very ideal hunk man.

If you are looking for an Oven Roasted Sirloin Beef served with Egg, Sweet Corn, Chopped Tomatoes & Onions and Rice topped with Butter and Bottomless Iced Tea or simply indulged myself with any beef meal, then Ababu Persian Kitchen is a place for you. They can give you their Shawarma Rice Meal at an affordable rate of 109.00 pesos only; it is one of their bestselling dishes and it stands out from other rice meals because of their sweet garlic sauce that gives it a Persian flavor in it that really stick to your memory bank and programs you to go back for more.

Mr Ton (proprietor) has two favorite dishes that he can brag to the public, a Charbroiled Ground Beef Served with Egg, Sweet Corn, Chopped Tomatoes and Onions, Rice Topped with Butter and Bottomless Drinks; none other than the Beef Kebab Rice Meal (109.00) And A Sauced Beef served with Egg, Sweet Corn, Chopped Tomatoes and Onions, Rice Topped with Butter and Bottomless Drinks; The Keema Rice Meal (109.00) Mr Ton also offers the Ababu Persian Kitchen’s dish that has a combination of Charbroiled Chicken and tenderloin Beef with Grilled Tomatoes and Onions, served with Rice topped with Butter, it is their famous Chello Kebab Gahghazi for only 199.00 Pesos.

Want something cold to drink? to cool down our own body temperature. Ababu Persian Kitchen also offer(s) Milkshakes with a tagline: “we offer Milkshakes as cold as your ex!” a very catchy yet very trending for those who we call as “Bitter”. But here’s the real twist, as much as how bitter the tagline is, the sweeter the Milkshakes are, for those who have a sweet tooth to fulfill, then this is the right place for a Milkshake that would surely cool you down during this hot summer days. With more than a dozen flavors to choose from, it is remarkably affordable and priced at only P50.00 per cup (and it’s a really big cup). They also have special flavors namely: sweetcorn, vanilla coffee, and chocoberry milkshake. You can also experiment with flavors as Ababu offers you the choice of mixing two of your favorite classic flavors just add ten pesos.

My favorite would be their CherryCoke Milkshake, a combination of cola and strawberry flavor milkshake, available only at Ababu and ideal for individuals that are milkshake fanatics. So what are you waiting for? Visit them today at Corrales Hayes st, Cagayan de Oro City.
