ILIGAN City — Six leaders of Muslim Mindanao are now on a two-week study-tour in the Federal Republics of Europe, one of the participants disclosed.
Sultan sa Lanao Dr. Firdausi Abbas, in a message from Berlin, said he, together with Abousyed Lingga and four others of the Moro Islamic Liberation (MILF), are currently in Berlin to see and know how the governments of the Federal Republics of Germany and Belgium work to have a model for federalism.
He said he represents the Moro National Liberation Front (MNLF) in this study-tour.
They foresee that the states to be created by the Philippine Government must have their respective constitutions like of those of the federated states of Germany, he said.
He added that from Berlin their group will proceed to Brussels, Belgium, and then to The Hague.
