The Kong Hua School’s 82nd alumni homecoming is just around the corner, and this year’s annual gathering will be hosted by Batch 94 with the theme “Comi-Con KHS Super Ball” at the Limketkai Atrium this coming Saturday, November 30.

In an interview with Batch 94 committee chairperson Judee Go See, explains “Initially we wanted a theme if last year was intramurals, and the year before that was 90s classic. We (batch 94) wanted something catchy, colorful, kanang maka hatag ug excitement, sa mga fellow alumni.”

The said event would feature eight production numbers including the host batch in their respective themes. The line-up is composed of Batch 1999 (Matrix), 1997 (X-Men), 1996 (Wakanda), 1989 (Avengers), 2000 (Power Rangers), 1995 – (Men in black & Charlie’s Angels), and 1986 (Avatar). 

“We also have batch gimmicks if they come as a batch we have prizes for that, as well as for the best in costume, and raffles. So we want everybody to come as much as possible in costumes or semi costumes. Bisan naka T-shirt lang ug logos,” Judee said.

Aside from the activities set for the alumni, the said event would highlight the Golden and Silver Jubilarians’ teachers whom they admired and honor as their own “Super Heroes”.

“Part of this event is also a thanksgiving for the teachers. Because they are our Superheroes.The teachers that we had (batch Golden and Silver Jubilarians) we want to thank them in particular for being there for us,” She shared.

The batch recently conducted medical missions in different Barangays in September and tree planting activities in Alubijid in August.

“Our batch has also given back. This homecoming is for fellow alumni a fellowship kung baga to reconnect and reminisce with old friends and enjoy the moment,” Judee concluded.

The KHS Comic-Con Super Ball is spearheaded by Batch 94 president Genevieve See Yap, Vice President Sandy Gaisano Tiu, Homecoming Chairperson, Dr. Judee Go See, and Finance committee head, Jane Chave with committee members Genevieve Dawis, Maria Cristina Lim – Galla, Mary Jean Verde – Sia, Michelle Galenzoga, Jannielyn Lim, Benino Sia, Icoson Lim, and Mark Wendel Jurial.
