BUTUAN City — A 19-year old suspected drug pusher who converted a remote banana area as his drug den was arrested in buy-bust operation by the composite team of the National Police (PNP) and the Drug Enforcement Agency (PDEA) last Friday afternoon at around 4 pm in Purok Silangan, Barangay Agusan Pequeño, here.

Senior Insp. Roland Orculio, Butuan City Police Station 2 station chief and Agusan Pequeño Barangay Chairman Gary Abuso identified the suspect as Melgin Herosa Gubaton, 19, a resident of Purok 7, Barangay Bading, this city.

According to Butuan City Police Station 2’s report, a total of 55 grams of suspected shabu worth P649,000 were seized from Gubaton.

Police said Gubaton admitted to police investigators that he gets his shabu supply from certain Walter Pandiin and that supposedly the shabu seized by authorities during his arrest were supposedly to be delivered to certain customer he named as certain Luis Plaza.

Charges have been filed against Gubaton as of press time.
