Operatives of Lagonglong Municipal Police Station has arrested a 42-year old woman over the weekend who was wanted for the case of large-scale illegal recruitment and estafa somewhere in the Province of Zambalez.

Lagonglong Municipal Police Station chief Senior Insp. Adolfo Mercado, Jr identified the suspect as Arlene Ramos, 42-year old and a resident of Barangay Amungan, Municipality of Iba, Zambalez.

Ramos was arrested by virtue of warrant of arrest issued by Judge Josefina Farrales of Regional Trial Court-Branch 70 for estafa with bail bond recommended at P20 thousand.

Another warrant of arrest was also issued by the same judge for another round of estafa case with bail bond recommended of P16 thousand.

Judge Farrales has also issued another warrant of arrest for illegal recruitment –– large scale with no bail bond recommended.

Mercado said Ramos was apprehended at barangay Kabulawan, Lagonglong through a joint intelligence effort and Iba Municipal Police Station chief Senior Insp. Jan Reanel Romero and members of the Barangay Peacekeeping Action Team (BPAT).

In another development, a joint operation conducted by the police operatives of Lagonglong Municipal Police and Don Carlos Municipal Police Station in Bukidnon arrested a 43-year old carpenter at Purok 5, barangay Buyot, Don Carlos, Bukidnon for the case of rape.

Mercado identified the suspect as Erwin Abendanio alias Ervin Abendanio, 43 years old, married, laborer, 43, a resident of Purok 5, Camp 1, Maramag , Bukidnon.

Abendanio was arrested by virtue of Warrant of Arrest for the crime of “Rape,” docketed under CR-FMY Case No. 2016-201, dated 25 April 2016 with no bail recommended, issued by Judge Richard D. Mordeno, RTC 10th Judicial Region-Branch 22, this city.
