Station commander Chief Insp. Ariel Philip Pontillas received the drug personalities and were made to sign an agreement that they will neither use nor push illegal drugs again.

Ila kanang kaugali-ngon nga sa-ad ug pirma wala sila pugsa nga mo-surender,” Pontillas told Gold Star Daily.

He said all of the 15 drug personalities who turned themselves up were in the Barangay Anti-Drug Abuse Council.

Pontillas added that he encouraged the “surren-derers” to name other drug personalities in their communities who have not turned themselves to authorities.

He said they would be giving out reward money to anyone who could volunteer information on known drug personalities in their villages who have not “surrendered” yet.

To date, there have been 187 drug personalities who “surrendered” at the Agora Police Station since the Cagayan de Oro City Police Office launched Oplan Tokhang in the city.
