Police Supt. Ariel Philip Pontillas identified the suspected drug pusher as a certain Glenn Gurro Sagrado, 53, married, and a residence of Purok 3, Barangay 18-A, this city.

Sagrado was caught by the police in a buy bust being conducted at his stall inside the market premises said Pontillas.

Recovered from Sagrado’s possession were P500 bill as a buy-bust money to buy one sachet and another sachet of shabu found in his left side pocket.

Sagrado denied selling drugs saying: “Wala ko mamaligya, tinarong akong negosyo.”

Pontillas said Sagrado owns a stall inside the public market selling face towels, baby oils, baby powders, lighters, and other assorted items.

But later, Sagrado confessed to using shabu but not to selling drugs.

Pontillas said Sagrado allegedly violated  the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002.

Sagrado is the 8th suspected shabu pusher arrested since Pontillas assumed office as Gingoog chief of police this February.
