WHETHER it be at his office or straight at the barangays, Mayor Rolando ‘Klarex’ Uy signified his commitment to extending City Hall’s services to the people of Cagayan de Oro.

Uy confirmed a previous announcement by City Administrator Hilario Roy Raagas that the outreach program initially dubbed ‘Bulawanong Serbisyo Sa Barrio’ will be implemented in the city’s hinterland barangays.

Uy also announced that starting on the second week of August, he will reserve Wednesdays and Thursdays to meet with the public at his office in order to address their concerns.

The ‘Adlaw sa Katawhan’ is open specifically to the city’s indigent families who need his administration’s services.

Kay gusto ko nga duol ko sa katawhan, gusto ko moserbisyo og mo-alagad sa katawhan sa bisan ginagmay nga pamaagi sa mga tawo nga manginahanglan,” Uy said.

The mayor added that his office is open to all City Hall employees who may have concerns that he can address.

Uy said he will periodically visit every City Hall department and meet with the ‘department managers’ as he called them together with their employees.

“If you want to, head to my office and I will listen to you,” the mayor said in Visayan.

Raagas said the Klarex administration’s barangay outreach program will offer a wide variety of services including medical and legal programs.

“Right now I ask my fellow employees in City Hall to prioritize serving our constituents and don’t delay in serving them. If there are delays in serving them, please take time to explain because I will be blamed for whatever delays or failures we may have in serving them,” Uy said.
