MISAMIS Oriental 2nd District Rep. Yevgeny Vincente Emano officially opened his congressional office in Balay Ninotchka in Tagoloan today.
Present during the blessing and ribbon cutting were Gov. Peter Unabja, Vice Gov. Jeremy Jonahmar Pelaez, Cagayan de Oro 1st District Rep. Lordan Suan, Cagayan de Oro City Councilors Yevonna Yacine Emano, Aga Suan, Ian Achas, and other provincial government agencies.
Balay Ninotchka was built in 1998 and named after Emano’s sister Ninotchka Emano who passed away in 1993. Balay Nenotchka used to be called ‘Payag’ in Tagoloan and has served as an office of the Emanos in serving the people of Tagoloan. It now serves as Emano’s congressional office.
Emano’s district office will be headed by Janna Pearl Cañon.
Emano promised to work hard and find funds to get projects and services for the 2nd District of Misamis Oriental.
“In the national offices, they talk of billions and how I hope we will be able to access to all of those funds,” Emano said adding that he would want to pour these funds into Misamis Oriental.
Ninotchka will be open 8 am to 5 pm, Mondays through Saturdays, where medical assistance will be served among other assistance, and will be open to all those in need, according to Emano.
