Cherwen Labanes, 19, who manages the establishment, said three people who posed as customers declared the robbery at around 9:40 pm.

The franchised outlet is owned by Juvenilio Bangayo, 60, a resident of Sampaguita St., Gusa, this city.

Labanes said he was forced to give their day’s earnings at knife-point.

He added that he tried to follow the three suspects outside but was threatened by two others, a male and a female, each of whom were armed with knives.

Labanes said the five suspects rode a maroon tri-cab that sped towards the direction of Barangay Puerto.

M/Sgt. Romulo Lim of the Agora police, said investigators were looking into the robbery although he admitted that they don’t have much to start with at presstime. (Nitz Arancon)
