Iligan City — A joint team of the police at Station 5 headed by Maj. Allan Abalde, City Investigation and Detection Management Branch headed by Capt. Fernando Destua with the Marawi City Police headed by Lt. Thomas Pantaleon, Jr. the other day arrested the person responsible for the killing of a teacher in her classroom in Balacuit, Hindang, this city before a shocked class.
He was identified as Albert Dara Bansalao, 34, married, a construction worker and resident of Purok Matimbang, Iligan City. The incident happened late January of this year where the culprit went to hiding until his arrest at Pamping, Marawi City.
After processing procedures in Marawi City, he was then taken to Iligan Police Station 5 for proper disposition. He will be charged with murder, the police said.
