QUINCY Jones revealed through an interview with New York Magazine that Marlon Brando would “f**k anything. Anything! He’d f**k a mailbox. James Baldwin. Richard Pryor. Marvin Gaye.”

And this has been confirmed by Pryor’s widow, Jennifer Lee Pryor, who said, “It was the 70s! Drugs were still good, especially Quaaludes. If you did enough cocaine, you’d f**k a radiator and send it flowers in the morning.”

Brando and Pryor? Wow. Who knew? Obviously they—their inner circle, that is—knew. But we, the madlang pehpohl, are now having all these question marks hovering overhead. Who else will have their reveals?

Well, there’s Mark Bautista revealing through his memoir, “Beyond the Mark,” that he’s bisexual. For many years, Pinoys did wonder. Now, wonder no more.

Bautista’s memoir has at least one blind item which is not so “blind” if you had heard of his “guy friend whom I was very close with for quite a long time… You could call it a bromance except for the two times we gave in to temptation and became intimate with each other. In both instances we wrestled with it and promised not to do it again.”

That caused the breakup of the “guy friend” with his girlfriend, and Bautista “could not defend myself because I knew if I would, it will just add fuel to the fire. Also, I needed to protect my friend.”

Jennifer Aniston and Justin Theroux are also separating not due to any bisexuality or gay revelations but due to geography—she prefers to live in Los Angeles while he loves New York.

Showbiz people’s relationships are the same as that of the madlang pehpohl’s, the only difference is, the former’s popularity forces them live in an imaginary aquarium where everyone can see and judge them. That could be the reason Jamie Foxx and Katie Holmes have remained mum on their relationship since they started dating in 2013.

With both Aniston and Brad Pitt single for now, there’s a possibility the two will reunite as a couple. Yes, this is a stretch and even I won’t dare say, We can dream, can’t we? For one, I, as an ever loyal Pitt fan, never liked them as a couple—wish ko lang at that time for Pitt to marry Gwyneth Paltrow.

Then, he separated from Aniston and began dating Angelina Jolie. Or should that be, He dated Jolie, and separated from Aniston. Hmmm.

Pitt and Jolie, the two most beautiful people in the world, as husband and wife, well, who could top that? But they also went their separate ways in 2016, prompting the madlang pehpohl to say, Anything is possible now.

But there’s Brando and Pryor whose relationship happened in the ’70s. Should their gay coupling be the tipping point for all relationships, instead of the Pitt-and-Jolie divorce?

By the way, Pinas and the Vatican City are the last two remaining places where divorce is not allowed. They’re too detached from reality, with the rest of the world in touch with that reality. But with the US still holding on to its liberal views on gun ownership, resulting to 17 school shootings or massacres in the first 45 days of 2018, being detached from reality can manifest in so many ways.

The 17th shooting, which was at Marjory Stoneman Douglas High School in Parkland, Florida, had 17 casualties. 17 for the 17th—talk of the grim side of serendipity.

“No child, teacher or anyone else should ever feel unsafe in an American school,” tweeted US President Donald Trump last Feb. 15. Oh, that’s what you call lip service.

“So many signs that the Florida shooter was mentally disturbed, even expelled from school for bad and erratic behavior. Neighbors and classmates knew he was a big problem. Must always report such instances to authorities, again and again!” Trump tweeted again on the same day.

If that mentally disturbed 19-year-old shooter didn’t have easy access to a gun, 17 students and school staff would be alive today.

Anti-gun protests are now being planned in the US, with the first ones to be held next month on March 14 and March 24.

Rallies have been the norm since the start of Trump’s administration, beginning with the Women’s March on Jan. 21, 2017. But does he listen?

Other people did listen. That Women’s March led to the #MeToo movement and Time’s Up Initiative that sent Harvey Weinstein and his kind to infamy.

“It is better to light just one little candle/Than to stumble in the dark.” All it takes is that one voice to inspire. Does Trump’s voice inspire? Hmmm.

There are speeches that can inspire the audience to hibernate in Siberia. Speeches that go nowhere. They ramble on and on as the audience’s collective thought bubble tunnel visions to these two words: Enough already!

And that’s also for Trump’s tweets: Enough already! Enough talk, because actions speak louder than words.

Let’s see—not pronounced as that Spanish word for milk—if Quincy Jones will stop talking, too, after his reveal on Brando and Pryor. Abangan!
