The Misamis Oriental Integrated Sports Council (Moisc) is inviting contractors to bid for the construction of a new sports indoor facility in Don Gregorio Pelaez Sports Center, this city.

According to Moisc board member and sports center new General Manager President Elipe, any contractor are welcome to bid for the construction of the proposed 20 by 50 highise indoor facility to hold four badminton courts, billiard tables, and dart areas.

The proposed facility will be located in between the sports center’s pool side and south grandstand.

“Hopefully we can start its operation within the last quarter of this year,” said Elipe.

Elipe said the bidding price starts at P2.9 million, while the lowest bidder would be granted with constructing the project.

He said all intrested contractors will have the chance to bid as unanimously approved by the board and chairperson from the province Governor Yevgeny Vincente Emano, city mayor Oscar Moreno, and from the Department of Education chair Dir. Allan G. Farnazo.

“For inquiries they (bidders) may visit our sports center office located below the bleachers,” Elipe said.

The deadline for submission of requirements will be on August 15.
