CAGAYAN de Oro Water District successfully hosted its 6th City-wide Math and Science Quiz Bee at the AVR-3 of the Liceo de Cagayan University on Wednesday.
Nicole Nathalie G. Bacolcol of Bugo Central School bested 18 other contestants to emerge as the winner in the Elementary Category. Xavier Grade School’s Mikaela Danielle G. Catarman came in second with only one point separating the two after a tensed tie-breaker to determine the winner.
Meanwhile in the High School Level, Lance Jose R. Oracion of Corpus Christi triumphed over runner-up Mandy Love Ledbetter of Xavier University High School and 13 other exceptional contestants from various schools in the city. (pr)
