Bulls on Parade

Pet lovers and organizations from all over this city gathered in one place to share knowledge and experience in handling their furry buddies, as well as compete in a Dog Show presented by Cagayan de Oro Pitbull and Bully Alliance (CPBA) dubbed “Bulls on Parade” last April 14 at Centrio Ayala Mall  in partnership with the Kagay-anon Responsible Association of Siberian Husky (KRASH).

The event was joined by other pet organizations, veterinary clinics, suppliers, and pet lovers in general. Pets got to roam inside the mall with their owners. Onlookers also got a chance to learn more about different breeds and were able to pet the dogs.

There were 8 categories during the afternoon event the Toy group, Puppy, Sporting, Nonsporting, Herding, Mixbreed, Best in Show, and Best Handler.

Winners in Toy Group were Rafifi by Bryan (Best Female), Maki by Edgay Apalla (Male) and also its overall best in Toy; Puppy (4-7 months) category went to Phoenix by Al Cayton handled by Jag Murillo (Male), and Elsa by Gasim Gadia (Female); Puppy (8-11 months) went to Thor by Radge Apalla.

Overall best puppy went to Elsa by Gasim Gadia; Sporting category and overall best was Summer by Radge Apalla; Nonsporting category and overall best went to Falkor by Ern (Male); Herding category went to Stark by Christie Maandig (male), meanwhile Lily by Armando won best Female and overall best in the said category.

In the Mixbreed category Ryan by Xi Hanna a Mix of Maltese and Shih Tzu won overall best; Gasim Gadia went home as Best Handler; and Best in Show went to Maki by Edgar Apalla.

KRASH (Kagay-anon Responsible Association of Siberian Husky) said the goal of this activity was “to exhibit good sportsmanship towards other Cagayan Dog Groups and its members.”
